Notes on the painting:

I guess I've been thinking about how fleeting life is and it's permeability-and the reflections of trees and sky on the water was a perfect metaphor for how that permuatability manifests in a felt way. I wanted to make this large scale painting all encompassing to reinforce the endless changes.
