My paintings use nature as a springboard taking me in an area where I can explore my thinking and feeling of the experience of the world and then turning that experience into physical form as a reflection of something bigger than myself.  What drives me to make art is that the process is the coalescing of the physical, the intellectual, the emotional and the spiritual in a concrete material way.
