A long time ago I had trouble understanding the concept that limitations or boundries could be a good thing. However as I have gotten older, I have found that certain limitations allow for greater creativity specifically because you have to think more creatively within outlined confines. I’ve found that if I am given everything with no boundries, I flounder, but if I give myself self imposed boundries, I do well. In some circumstances even externally given boundries can help launch stalled energy, just because of the challenge. i don’t know what it would be like if you were in solitary confinement though. Maybe if you had access to paint everything would be okay.
